My Story
Little did I know when creating this web site what my future was going to
hold, writing to let alone marry a foreign woman never even crossed my mind.
I soon learned while researching this website that there were many men
wishing to meet and possibly marry foreign women and
what originally began as an Irish dating site soon turned into a worldwide dating site
(this month I have had visitors from The Seychelles, The Phillipines,
Saudi Arabia and Japan) now a year and a half later
I find myself deeply in love with who must be the most beautiful
and amazing woman I have ever encountered.
While investigating dating scams by writing to a known scammer I
came across a photo of a girl and could not help but look at her profile,
we shared all the same interests and her sweet
character just compelled me to write to her,
and so.......
 lazing in the Phoenix Park, Dublin.

After daily e-mails then daily telephone
conversations our friendship grew to the point where we felt we should meet each
other and 6 weeks later I booked myself some flights and in October '03 I went on a
holiday across
Eastern Europe taking in her beautiful home town St Petersburg for three days.
I didn't want to stay longer just in case things went insane or she was one of the
elaborate scammers that I have read about (and you should too) that prey on single
guys on the Internet but she wasn't, in fact she was more amazing than her mails
and our telephone conversations.
I have since returned to Russia 7 times and she visited here last summer where I proposed to her.

Just Married!
And now after meeting two years ago we find ourselves husband & wife,
a happily married couple.
We got married in July in St Petersburg, many guests travelled
far to join us on this day and it was a fairy tale.
The wedding palace was a beautiful setting and the summer sun
shined brightly in the cloudless sky, we couldn't have asked for a better or more romantic day.
So I guess thats it, 1stLoveOnline first began as my search for love,
it soon became the story of my online dating experiences and now its about how I met my wife.
Its been a difficult but exciting few years and worth every minute of my time now I wish you all the luck in your search for your 1stLoveOnline.
