Sending and replying to mail
So you have done the hard work, signed up searched for singles and hey its love at 1st sight.
Now its time to send or receive mails.
Sending the 1st mail.
Ok so you someone has caught your eye, the profile has caught your heart, its time to send a mail,
1st comes the subject line, sometimes I just say Hello "add their name here" and sometimes I use a witty remark based on the profile.
its always good clean fun and can catch the attention, I will leave this up to you.
Introduce yourself, a brief bit bout location, age, height, general introduction stuff, then explain why you are writing to them.
what was it in their profile that gave you the urge to contact them, keep it very brief and spell check it too.
Sign off, then wait, do not expect a reply but if you do get a reply great! and if you dont, well at least you were not expecting it.
Its also nice to reply to someone's 1st mail though even if to say thanks, but no thanks.
Success, you have mail!!
Ok, try not to swoon here, sometimes it can be an advertising mail from the site you have just signed up to,
yes, it did happen to me with one of the large Irish dating sites that make you pay to read mail!
it was disappointing.........
I suggest you take a copy of the first mail if its stored on a site not sent to your e-mail, you will need it to re-read over it
and keep it handy.
The 1st letter back should be a well written reply,
tell them why you are glad that they have written to you, let them know what it
was in their profile or letter that compelled you to, not too much humour here either,
Answer all questions they ask truthfully and add one or two of your own,
Then use a nice greeting at the end, if they have given you their email attach a photo,
its best to get this out of the way early in the day, this is for sure.
keep it brief and send, sit back and sweat....
Well I did say it was never going to be easy.
Then they reply.
Well thats my job done here, you will see if it works out dont forget the dating tips they just may come in handy.
